5.0     Poplar Baths - site details

Poplar Baths is a derelict building positioned on an
island site located off the East India Dock Road, see
figure 8 on the following page.

North

East India Dock Road runs along the northern
boundary of the site, opposite Chrisp Street district
centre.

East

Grove Villas - a pedestrian right of way, runs along the
eastern boundary of the site, with the All Saints DLR
station, track and sidings adjacent to it.

South

Lawless Street runs along the southern boundary of
the site, which is a dead-end street separating the baths
from the predominantly residential accommodation to the south.

West

Poplar Baths Street runs along the western boundary
of the site and provides access to the fire station car
park. The fire station itself fronts onto and is accessed
from East India Dock Road. Poplar Baths Street has a
temporary barrier which restricts access at the
junction with Lawless Street.
